    Jamie Oliver the much loved and down to earth British chef brings his new restaurant to the centre of Cheltenham. Jamie's Italian restaurant in Cheltenham recently opened in July 2011, it is in the former county court house just off Regent Street and in very close proximity to the Everyman Theatre, and Cheltenham high Street and shopping areas. Jamie’s Italian in Cheltenham is now the largest of Jamie’s restaurants. The grade II- listed building still maintains many of its original features whilst some new additions have been added including a feature spiral staircase. The restaurant offers great tasty food, offering what people want at prices to suit everyone. Jamie wants his new restaurant to become a favorite amongst the local people of Cheltenham offering traditional Italian dishes made daily with fresh pasta and dishes include Tuscan wild boar sausages, wild truffle risotto, prosciutto, pear and pecorino salad and a wide selection of fresh pasta dishes. On visiting the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly waiter and enjoyed extremely tasty and very authentic pasta dishes, the best pasta I have ever tasted, I cannot wait to go back, and prices were very reasonable. Well worth a visit both for the delicious food and to see the interior of this historic building.
