Cheltenham Bournside School and sixth Form Centre for pupils 11–18 years for secondary education, is an Academy status school of 450 pupils.  The 2009 Ofsted report graded the school as grade 3 'satisfactory'. The school prides itself in pupil ethos and helping pupils achieve  and to develop to their full potential.  Bournside school provides first-class facilities, encouraging pupils in all areas of personal achievement and excellence, and offers a sixth for college for further Education.

Bournside school and sixth form in Cheltenham is a Specialist Visual Arts College, the School is committed to providing a creative and stimulatingly environment for its pupils. The school has re-invigorate it's quadrangle  to add points of interest and a sheltered area where students can eat their lunches and socialise.

The school is having a new Learning Centre built along with 5 new English classrooms with interactive whiteboards. The Learning Centre will have four different learning zones with a unique feature to each zone, and will form as a  multi-functional area.

Bournside School and Sixth Form Centre, is able to offer excellent sport facilities to the local community.

The Sports facilities operate on  a pay and play basis, which operates on a no membership basis.

The facilities can be booked by telephone or in person, up to 6 days in advance for indoor activitie) or 10 days in advance for outdoor activities.
