  Cheltenham is a real festival town, with such diverse festivals as The Cheltenham Gold Cup national hunt Festival, music festivals, science Festival, literatue festival, and Food and drink festival held throughout the  Cheltenham Festival calender. Accommodation is in high demand during the Festival season.
 

Cheltenham Gold Cup  National Hunt festival is of the most  renowned events in the Cheltenham Festival calender, the Cheltenham races take place every year in March at Cheltenham racecourse overlooking the Malvern hills and attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, with race prize money second only to the Grand National, many of the horses are  British or Irish trained, and where millions of pounds are won and lost on betting.

Tickets can be pre booked via the Cheltenham Racecourse website www.cheltenham.co.uk  there are also preview nights.

Last years Gold cup winner Imperial Commander will no doubt be odds on again looking to win. Trained locally nr Cheltenham.  The Cheltenham Gold Cup will be run on the new course at Cheltenham Racecourse over a distance of just over 3 miles and 22 fences. The Gold Cup race is the main event of the Cheltenham festival which takes place in March each year.  It is the most prestigious of the National Hunt events and is open to horses aged five years or older.

The Cheltenham Jazz festival , held in April attracts a wide audience of jazz fans from across the country. With a wide variety of muisic  in 2011 with return  performances from artists such as Jamie Cullum, as guest director  there is something for every taste, jazz lovers,  funk, blues, latin and soul, through to the jazz jive night and the salsa squad dance class,many of the performances are held in the town Hall Cheltenham or in the  large marquee in Imperial Gardens Cheltenham next to the Town Hall. Many smaller events take place throughout pubs and bars in the centre of Cheltenham. 

Wychwood Music Festival held at cheltenham Racecourse is one of Britains most Family friendly festivals with varied  selection of music. Nominated Best Family Festival in the UK Festival Awards every year Wychwood is a fun packed weekend of music, workshops, cinema, comedy, Headphone disco and much more fun. and idyllic camping beneath the Prestbury Hills, the  perfect summer festival.

 

In June there is the Times Cheltenham science festival. A  mix of interactive elements in the Discover  Zone, suitable for all ages to the discussion sessions featuring  high profile guests such as professor Brian Cox, the popularity of the science festival continues to grow year on year attracting visitors from across the UK..

Cheltenham food and Drink Festival in June offers gastronomic cuisine and lively music in Montpellier gardens over the weekend, with chefs and local Cotswold produce all adding to a great summer atmosphere.

The Cheltenham music festival in July is another highlight in the Cheltenham festival season. With a diverse range of music including five youth orchestras, through to discussions regarding Mozart, the festival attracts a wide range of music enthusiasts from across the UK.

The Times Cheltenham literature festival started in 1949, is the worlds oldest literature festival. The festival was attended by over 100,000 people bringing important business to the hotels bars and restaurants of Cheltenham Spa. This years 2011 Cheltenham festival in October it is hoped will be one of the best to date.

Are we allowed to vteonuelr for a particular part in a catagory ie. in Marketing + Publicity, would I be able to only vteonuelr for, let's say, assisting with the management of facebook/twitter account ? Or whatever part
