Cheltenham Gold Cup National Hunt festival is of the most renowned events in the Cheltenham Festival calender, the Cheltenham races take place every year in March at Cheltenham racecourse overlooking the Malvern hills and attract hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world, with race prize money second only to the Grand National, many of the horses are British or Irish trained, and where millions of pounds are won and lost on betting.
