Cheltenham Folk Festival in its 16th year 10th- 12th February 2011 Patron Eliza Carthy

Cheltenham hosts a wide variety of festivals, many of the Cheltenham Festival events are held at Cheltenham Town Hall. There are a wide range of workshops,  as well as the broad range of concerts, workshops, ceilidhs and children’s activities there is a market place with stalls selling everything from jewellery and clothing to musical instruments, as well as the infamous Real Ale bar.

Cheltenham Town Hall and Pittville Pump Room are owned and managed  by Cheltenham Borough Council.

Hosts many events annually such as the many Cheltenham Festivals such as the folk festival, Cheltenham Jazz festival, the science festival, music festival and the literature festival, along with the ever changing list acts, and events throughout the calendar.

Cheltenham Town Hall was built in 1902-03, historically providing a venue for the many balls and concerts which made up the towns social calendar at the turn of the twentieth century.
