Cheltenham often refered to as Cheltenham Spa, is one of the greatest examples of regency architecture in the country and is home to stunning buildings such as the town hall, the Lloyds Bank Building with its impressive dome at the top of Montpellier terrace , the georgian columns and domed Pittville Pump Room set in Pitville Park. As well as the beautiful architecture, Cheltenham also boasts numerous attractions. and well renound Festivals throughout the year.

In the  summer and the sun there is only one destination in Cheltenham worth going to.  the Sandford Lido a fine example of a historic lido built in1935, opens every summer and is a glorious way for all family to enjoy the sun with a 50 metre heated pool, with slides and a paddling pool for children. Sandford Park has easy access to the Lido, there are also Montpellier and Imperial Gardens.

Cheltenham racecourse at Prestbury park and the  racecourse station for the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, a 20 mile round trip between Toddington and Cheltenham through the best scenery the Cotswolds has to offer. Special events are held throughout the year and are very popular in particular the steam engines,and at Christmas the Santa special.

Cheltenham has  three popular theatre’s; The Bacon Theatre, The Everyman and the Playhouse. They are very popular with both tourists and locals  and put on everything from ballet -comedy, live music, English Contemporary Ballet - to outdoor theatre.

Cheltenham has excellent road and rail links to all the major destinations. Bath is just under an hour by train, Birmingham New Street is 40 minutes away and London Paddington can be reached in under 2 hours. South Wales is also within easy reach with Cardiff only an hour by train.

Bristol Airport is the nearest airport, although Heathrow, Gatwick and Birmingham airports are all accessable by car from Cheltenham.
