What’s On Events in Cheltenham this Easter
Easter is fast approaching and the feeling of spring is in the air, there are many events on in Cheltenham and the Cotswold area for the whole family to enjoy over the Easter Holidays. Where better to enjoy Easter than in regency Cheltenham and the beautiful surrounding Cotswolds countryside. There are Easter activities at Cheltenham Theatres, Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum, Sudeley Castle and Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge wetlands Centre, Westonbirt Arboretum, Horse Fun Rides at The Cotswold Farm Park, live Jazz, events at Cheltenham racecourse, and Easter Egg hunts at Sudeley Castle, the Edward Jenner Museum and at National Trust venues including LodgePark, Snowshill Manor Garden, and Croome Park .
There are some great events coming to Cheltenham this Easter! Soon to be followed the following week by the ever popular Cheltenham Jazz Festival brought to Cheltenham thanks to the Cheltenham Festivals organisation which takes place over the extended Bank holiday weekend after Easter.

Vienna Festival Ballet are arriving in Cheltenham to perform their classical production of the timeless fairytale dance. Exquisite choreography, supple dancers, incorporating music by Rossini. The performance incorporates the familiar characters including two comical ugly sisters, a fairy godmother, a handsome prince and the famous glass slipper! This show promises to bring a warm smile to the faces of ballet fans, both young and old!

Everyman Theatre Cheltenham
29th March -3rd April at The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham Peter Pan on Ice a vibrant show by the Russian Ice skating performers, not to be missed!
An adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s magical story of the boy who never grew up hits Cheltenham, when the world renowned Russian Ice Stars perform Peter Pan On Ice at the the Everyman Theatre.
Followed later in April by Dance performances by the National Dance Company Wales. Exciting and exhilorating new commissions from two international choreographers created with National Dance Company Wales later in April.

Moscow State Circus Cheltenham Racecourse

Spring around Slimbridge trail. Look out for daffodils, shooting buds on the trees, animals with their new offsrping. Join in Easter activities such as spring flowers making,weaving an Easter placemat, making a rocking chick, Making a funny bunny, and colouring and paper activities.
Slimbridge Wetlands Centre
Easter is when Spring has sprung at Slimbridge Wetland Centre. Hear the birds calling and watch their displays. See the news buds on the trees and look out to see if you can spot the first ducklings of the season.
There is also a whole host of activities to keep your family busy over the Easter holidays (Saturday 9 to Monday 25 April). On the Signs of Spring Trail you can Go on a mini-adventure around the grounds searching for clues that spring has arrived, and join in with a host of creative activities.
Westonbirt Arboretum Easter ‘Our Best Kept Secret ‘
Spring is One of the most spectacular times to visit Westonbirt with colour to rival the autumn show!! Spring is spectacular at Westonbirt.
Rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias fill the Arboretum, and enchanting swaths offspring wildflowers adorn Silk Wood.
Westonbirt have a series of events and exhibitions over the Easter and Spring season.
Berkeley Castle
The Berkeley Castle Tropical Butterfly House is open this Easter from Sunday April 22nd until Thursday 29th September 2011.
The Rose Garden Picnic Area. Has been described it as ‘a pure magical experience’.
In the region of 42 exotic species, from as far afield as Japan and Indonesia, fly freely in a beautiful tranquil tropical surroundings.
